Emails from Velosiq
Separate from the in-app bell and from the reminder emails your clients get, Velosiq occasionally emails you — about the product itself.
You control all of it, and you can turn any of it off.
The four categories
Find them at Settings → Notifications, under Emails from Velosiq:
| Category | What lands in your inbox |
|---|---|
| Product updates | New features and meaningful changes to Velosiq |
| Tips & best practices | Short, practical ways to get more out of the app |
| Special offers | Discounts and promotions on Velosiq plans |
| Surveys & research | Occasional invitations to help us shape what gets built next |
All four are on when you create your account. Turn any of them off individually, or use Unsubscribe from all Velosiq email at the bottom of the card to stop all four at once.
These settings are personal
Unlike the in-app notification settings on the same page — which apply to your whole business — these are yours alone. Every person on your team has their own set. Turning off Special offers doesn't affect what your teammates receive, and they can't change yours.
Invited team members start with all four on, the same as the account owner.
Unsubscribing from your inbox
Every one of these emails has an unsubscribe link in the footer, so you never need to sign in to stop them. Clicking it opens a page where you can:
- unsubscribe from just that category, or
- unsubscribe from everything, or
- go to your full settings to pick and choose
Many email apps (Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook) also show their own Unsubscribe button near the sender's name. That works too — it tells us directly, and it takes effect immediately, even part-way through a send that's already going out.
Changed your mind? The confirmation page has an Undo button, and you can re-enable anything at Settings → Notifications.
What you'll still receive
Unsubscribing never affects the email you need to run your business. These always go out while your account is open:
- Invoices and proposals you send, and payment receipts
- Password resets and security notices
- Team invitations
- Billing and subscription messages
- Legal notices, such as changes to our Terms or Privacy Policy
These are part of the Service rather than marketing, so there's no opt-out while the account exists. Closing your account stops them.
