Forty houses a week. One place to run them from.
Repeat visits on a schedule, automatic reminders that cut lockouts, and invoicing that keeps up with the volume instead of piling into Sunday night.
It is not one big job. It is sixty small ones.
Cleaning does not fail on complexity, it fails on repetition. The same forty addresses, the same weekly rhythm, the same handful that forgot you were coming and left the door locked, and the same Sunday evening spent turning a week of visits into invoices. Nothing about any single job is hard. The volume is what grinds.
What a normal week looks like
Less a project lifecycle than a loop that has to run cleanly forty times.
The visit is booked
You slot it, or the client books an open slot themselves through the portal. Either way it lands on the same calendar.
The client is reminded
An automatic email goes out ahead of the visit — a day before by default. Lockouts drop because nobody has forgotten.
The crew sees their work
Cleaners have their own logins and see the jobs they are on, without the revenue reports behind them.
The visit is marked done
Completed, cancelled or a no-show — recorded on the appointment rather than remembered.
The invoice goes out
Bill the visit and the client pays from a link, by card or bank transfer. It marks itself paid when the money clears.
Unpaid gets chased
Anything still outstanding gets an automatic nudge a few days after the due date, without you writing the email.
Most lockouts are a forgotten appointment
A locked door costs you the slot, the drive and often the goodwill, and almost none of them are deliberate. An automatic reminder the day before is the cheapest fix in the business, and it works without anyone remembering to send it.
Ahead of every visit
Automatic email to the client before the appointment. 24 hours by default, set it where you want it.
Chasing unpaid invoices too
A separate nudge goes out a set number of days after an invoice falls due. Three by default.
No-shows recorded
When it happens anyway, the appointment carries a no-show status so the pattern is visible.

Invoices per month on every paid plan
Sixty invoices, not six
Most small-business tools are priced and shaped around a business that sends a handful of invoices a month. Cleaning is the opposite: small amounts, high frequency, every week. The free plan caps at twenty invoices a month, and every paid plan lifts the cap entirely — for a round of any size that is usually the deciding factor rather than any particular feature.
The cap is the thing to watch
Twenty a month free. Uncapped on every paid plan.
Clients pay themselves
A pay link on every invoice, card or bank transfer, straight into your own Stripe account.
Part payments count immediately
A client paying half now shows as half paid, and that cash lands in your revenue the day it clears.
Supplies and vehicles tracked
Recurring costs like supplies and fuel can be logged so the margin on a round is a real number.
Worth knowing before you start
Two things cleaning businesses often assume are here. Better to find out now than in week two.
- — There is no autopay or card-on-file. Clients pay per invoice from a link — Velosiq does not charge them automatically on a schedule.
- — There is no route optimisation or drive-time planning.
- — It does not run payroll for your cleaners.
Questions, answered
The questions that come up when the round is already running.
Do clients get reminded before a visit?
Yes, automatically. Velosiq emails the client ahead of the appointment — 24 hours before by default, and you can change how far ahead. For a cleaning round this is the single highest-value setting in the product, because most lockouts are a forgotten appointment rather than a cancelled one.
Can clients book and reschedule themselves?
Yes. The client portal shows your available slots and lets a client book without going through you, so a Tuesday reshuffle does not have to travel via your phone. They can also see their invoices and pay from the same place.
Is there a limit on how many invoices I can send?
The free plan covers 20 invoices a month, which is fine for a solo cleaner starting out and not fine for a round of forty houses. Every paid plan removes the invoice cap entirely. Volume is usually the reason a cleaning business outgrows the free plan rather than anything to do with features.
Can Velosiq charge a card automatically every week?
No — and this is worth knowing before you sign up. There is no card-on-file, no autopay and no recurring billing. Clients pay from a link on each invoice by card or bank transfer, and the invoice marks itself paid when the money clears. What Velosiq does instead is make the repeat invoice fast to send and then chase it for you if it goes unpaid.
Can my cleaners see the schedule without seeing the money?
Yes. Invite them as members and they get their own login for the work, while revenue, reports and billing stay with owners and admins. Each person gets their own account rather than everyone sharing one.
